Watch This Space...!

Introducing some of my artwork... enjoy...

'Brew With A View...'

Introducing my latest seascape, 'Brew With A View...', acrylic on canvas, painted with palette knives, as well as brushes. This is a lovely miniature, 20cms square and inspired from family holidays. There is a nod to some of my other artworks featured in this too, with my design 'Fancy A Paddle...' on the mugs and 'Early Morning Catch...' on the coasters. - this holiday home has great taste, if you as me 😁!

'Down To The Sea...'

This is my biggest canvas to date at 80cms X 40cms. It featured in my first solo exhibition in February and March 2025, in Kidderminster. It also featured in the 'Spring Exhibition 'at the Open Gallery in Halifax, during April and May 2025, and is featured in their Spring Catalogue, accompanying the exhibition. This has proved to be a popular piece and it has now been printed onto a quality giclee print available from my website. (Please look at Studio Shop in the menu. Thank you) This is painted with acrylic, on canvas, using palette knives, as well as brushes. It is inspired by a family holiday in Cornwall, down the Lizard peninsula. I love all of the details in this scene, including the seagulls flying across the coastline, sparrows hopping along the wall, the couple beach combing near the sea and the bees buzzing around the pretty sea thrift on the cliff.  It all tells a story of how I see things.

'Early Morning Catch...'

Painted in the summer of 2024 and the first piece I used palette knives, as well as brushes, this has proved to be one of the most popular artworks I have created. It was also apart of my first solo exhibition in February & March 2025, in Kidderminster. This design has also been printed onto quality giclee prints and some household items, such as placemats and coasters and are available to buy from my website, (please look on Studio Shop and Giftware Store, in the menu. Thank you. ) I was inspired by the many small fishing boats spotted on holiday.

'The Shoal...'

Painted in the summer of 2024, this piece has been created using palette knives, as well as brushes. This took part in my first solo exhibition in February and March 2025, in Kidderminster. It has proved to be one of my most popular pieces of artworks and this design has now been printed onto quality giclee prints and some household items, including, clocks, placements and coasters, available from my website. (Please look at Studio Shop and Giftware Store in the menu. Thank you. ) I love the sparkles on the water from the glint of sunshine, lighting up the depths below, to reveal a small shoal of fish darting around. This original has been selected to exhibit at the Fox Studio Gallery this spring, please look at Galleries, Exhibitions And Events in the menu, thank you.

'Fancy A Paddle...'

This is the first wildlife portrait painted in acrylic, using palette knives, as well as brushes. This is a miniature canvas at only 20 cms square and the smallest canvas to date, however, I do plan on going smaller in the future, by half the size, so watch this space!  This featured in my first solo exhibition, in February and March 2025, in Kidderminster. It has proved to be one of my most popular artworks. It has now been printed onto quality household items, such as mugs and are available from my website, (please look on Giftware Store in the menu. Thank you). Also shown in AAA. I have had the privilege of seeing oystercatchers in the wild, whilst on a family holiday. These are cute, but noisy birds, such wonderful characters!
