Inspired by a family holiday to the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall. It's a lovely spring day. Sea gulls are flying across the coastline,  bees are buzzing around the pretty sea thrift on the cliff and it's low tide. Follow me down the path, past the boat, down to the sea, where we can see what treasures are left behind. There are already people down on the beach already, so let's join them and see what we can find, shells, driftwood, sea glass and fossils are all waiting to be discovered.

Inspired by a family holiday on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall...The seagulls flying across the coastline, sparrows hopping along the wall, bee's buzzing around the pretty sea thrift, follow me down the path, past the boat, down to the sea, there are already people beach combing, so let's go and join them, driftwood, shells, sea glass or fossils, who's knows what 'treasure ' we will find.

I've seen oystercatchers whilst on family holidays and thought they were such characters, I had to paint them. This one looks like he's having fun in the shallows, inviting you to join him for a paddle. I love the reflection too.
