I am a self-taught, gallery artist based in Worcestershire, in the UK. I pride myself with being able to draw and paint free hand.
I love seascapes and landscapes and although these are my passion, I can turn my hand to most things, including wildlife, vehicles, floral tributes and pet portraits. The possibilities are endless!
I can be commissioned to create something memorable for you and prices vary, so please ask. An example you can order is a 40cms square acrylic on canvas, ideal for a seascape or landscape and can take upto 7 weeks to produce. I use palette knives, brushes and cotton buds to create the texture into my artwork and then I varnish it. It can take up to 4 weeks to paint, longer for bigger canvases and then it needs 3 weeks to cure before it can be varnished.
Pet or wildlife portraits are usually produced with pastel and pencils on A4 or A5 pastelmat and although this size is smaller than the acyclic on canvas, the details and time taken to produce, takes just as long, if not longer to create. I don't use adhesive on these as it changes the finished piece and can sometimes ruin it, therefore I offer the opportunity to mount and frame it or laminate it instead.
Prices vary, depending on what you require, but start from
£250+ for 20cms square acrylic on canvas.
£250+ for pastel and pencil on A5 pastelmat.
£400+ for 40cms square acrylic on canvas.
£400+ for pastel and pencil on A4 pastelmat.
